The ride north from Kalmar to Oskarshamn has to be one of the most wonderful bike rides, assuming the weather co-operates. It is relatively flat, has little or no traffic for most of it and goes thru quiet forests.
Interspersed with fields and wild flowers
A funny thing happened on the way. I had stopped at an historical site of an old hostel and church from the 12 century. What I wasn’t quite prepared for was the photographer and model using the ruins for a photo shoot. Oh, by the way, clothes were not part of the session. Here are the ruins, the model is safely behind the walls.
